Sullivan Shatters Own School Record at Wake Forest Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Davidson's Molly Sullivan broke her own school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase Thursday night, clocking a time of 10:27.89 at the Wake Forest Invitational.
A senior from North Kingstown, R.I., Sullivan lowered her previous standard of 10:38.74, which she set at last season's Atlantic 10 Championships while earning a silver medal.
Sullivan entered the week coming off a strong performance at the Duke Invitational, where she set a personal best in the 1500 meters (4:36.38).
In addition, Katie Deacon continued her impressive senior campaign finishing runner-up in the 800m with a personal-best time of 2:14.52.
The final day of competition will begin at 10 a.m. Friday morning.
