BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Davidson men's tennis team was topped 7-0 by non-conference competitor Virginia Tech Sunday.
The Hokies took wins on all six courts, starting off strong two 6-3 doubles victories. The home team was also leading 5-3 against Sebastian Carpio Moran and Goyo Hidalgo before their match was left unfinished.
Virginia Tech picked up another pair of points with two-bout victories on courts one and two before sealing the deal with a two-set win on court three.
Davidson will return home on Friday, beginning conference play against VCU at 5 p.m. on Friday.
