'Cats Win at Lock Haven, Extend Streak to 5

It's the fifth straight win for the Wildcats, who improved to 6-3 overall with their second consecutive win over the Bald Eagles. They also moved to 2-0 in the league for the first time since 2015.
The win streak is Davidson's longest since the 2010 Wildcats won five consecutive in a 14-win season.
Van der Kooi struck just 32 seconds into the game, off the first of Sib Naaktgeboren's three assists, to put the Wildcats out front, and Matilda Collins' two second-half goals helped the Wildcats seal it.
Davidson made it 2-0 in the third quarter when Celie Constantine scored 2:57 after the break, and Collins followed with two goals 7:39 apart. Emilia Ostos' fourth-quarter score made it 5-0 before Lock Haven scored with 40 seconds to play.

The Wildcats are idle Sunday and will return to action at A-10 foe VCU on Friday, Oct. 3.
