DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson, the 2025 Atlantic 10 Conference Champion, is headed the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, hosted by Florida State University at Seminole Legacy Golf May 12-14.
Returning to the site of their 2021 Regional appearance, the Wildcats will be making their fifth postseason trip since 2018.
Under the direction head coach Tim Straub, who is in his 25th season at the helm, Davidson rallied from nine strokes down last week for its fifth conference crown in seven trips.
The Wildcats are led by A-10 Player of the Year Joshua Stewart and fellow all-conference selection Will Davis.
Behind a win and four top-five finishes, Stewart leads the way with a 70.7 stroke average. Davis, who competed in last year's Chapel Hill Regional as an individual, holds a 71.2 stroke average highlighted five Top-10s and a team-best 10 rounds in the 60s.
Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 12-14. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.
Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Texas is the host institution for the 2025 championships.
