Three Wildcats to Swim in Toyota U.S. Open

A trio of Davidson swimmers will be among the nation's best when they compete in the Toyota U.S. Open this week in Austin, Texas.
Senior Dylan Felt and freshmen Henry Shoemaker and Nathan Widman will be competing in USA Swimming's annual long-course event, which this year serves as a qualifier for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (Beijing 2026).
Widman will get things started when he competes in the 50-meter breast on Thursday, qualifying with a time of 29.15. Felt earned a spot in Friday's 200 free (1:50.79), and Shoemaker enters the 800 free (8:09.95) on Saturday.
