Felt Leads the Way on Day 2 at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Dylan Felt's first-place swim in the 200 freestyle led Davidson's effort on Saturday, the second day of the Bucknell Invitational.

Felt touched first with a time of 1:35.19 and became the second Wildcat to win an event at the seven-team championship-style meet, joining Elle Jacobsen, who won 3-meter diving on Friday.

Felt also teamed with Henry Shoemaker, Matthew Shnowske and Fletcher Smith to take fourth in the 800 free relay (6:35.93).

Other top swims for the Wildcat men came from Liam McDonough, who placed fifth in the 100 back (49.25), and from Smith, who took eighth in the 200 free (1:40.45)

The Davidson women were led by multiple fourth-place finishes, including in two relays and with McKenna Smith in the 100 fly (55.21). The 200 medley relay unit of Ann Thompson, Maggie McCabe, M. Smith and Caroline Furbay posted a time of 1:42.62, while the 800 free relay of Ginny Thorsen, Frances Bohner, Furbay and Addison Constantinides also took fourth (7:30.19).

McCabe added fifth-place points in the 100 breast (1:03.74), Thompson took seventh in the 100 back (55.66) and Sophia Parker was eighth in the 100 fly (56.20).

In 1M diving, Jacobsen (252.00) and Laurel Coppedge (242.40) placed fifth and seventh, respectively.

Through Saturday's events, the Wildcat teams each rank fifth in the team scores.
