Women Capture Dill Family Foundation Invitational Title

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Highlighted by five Top-10 finishes, the Davidson women's cross country team captured the 2025 Dill Family Foundation Invitational title Friday morning.
Sophomore Abby Smith led the Wildcats finishing third with a new personal record of 21:39.7. Freshman Annie Norman came home just five seconds behind Smith with a season-best 21:44.36 to place fourth.
Mary Shoop (22:31.13), Charlotte Moor (22:33.45) and Gilly Shumate (22:35.68) also turned in their best times of the 2025 season crossing the line in sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, to round out Davidson's scoring.
Camryn Quinn (22:56.25 / 11th) and Justine Meta (23:09.61 / 14th) finished just outside the Top-10 for the Wildcats.
Newcomers Ellie Harrington (23:32.39) and Ava Linnell (23:43.64) also ran for the 'Cats this morning.
As a team, Davidson finished with 28 points, edging the host East Carolina Pirates (36) by eight points. Norfolk State (101) finished third ahead of UNCW (102) and Campbell (102).

Davidson will resume its fall slate Oct. 17 at the Panorama Falls Invitational hosted by Virginia.
