Wildcats Sweep Team Wins at VMI

LEXINGTON, Va. — Davidson swimmers and divers combined for 22 event wins and swept the team victories as well Saturday afternoon at VMI.
The Wildcat women earned a 212-85 win, while the men edged VMI 153-147.
The Davidson women had the top performances in 13 events, led by the two-win days of Elle Jacobsen and Maggie McCabe.
Jacobsen swept the 1-meter (257.70) and 3M diving events (285.60), while McCabe won the 100 breast (1:06.46) and 200 breast (2:25.62)
Wildcats Nora Ratmeyer, Lizzie Palmer, Sophia Parker and Imojen Judd won the 200 medley relay in 1:49.88, while McKenna Smith, Caroline Furbay, Parker and Julia Pisano won the 200 free relay (1:38.93).
Other wins came from Furbay (50 free, 24.73), Frances Bohner (200 free, 1:56.26), Kelsa Dator (500 free, 5:23.10), Claire Chason (1,000 free, 10:55.43), Ginny Thorsen (200 IM, 2:12.89), Smith (100 back, 1:01.10) and Reece Ramseur (100 fly, 59.95).
Dylan Felt and Fletcher Smith led the Davidson men with two victories apiece. Felt swam first in the 100 free (45.90) and 200 fly (1:52.24), while Smith won the 100 back (51.31) and 100 fly (50.43).
Liam McDonough touched first in the 100 back (1:53.77), while Max Boylan (100 breast, 58.54) and Davis Moore (1,000 free, 9:49.79) also posted wins.
Jonas Lusis (1M, 237.15) and Garrett Sablich (3M, 270.98) split the diving wins.
