ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – In addition to Davidson extending its lead, Joshua Stewart and Will Davis are tied for second just one shot off the pace with 18 holes remaining in The Peoples Championship hosted by Western Carolina.
The Wildcats (-21), who captured the Cleveland Golf Intercollegiate earlier this week, entered today's second round with a six-shot margin following an opening round 274 (-10). The defending champs signed for an 11-under 273 to open up a 13-shot advantage over Drexel (-8) entering tomorrow's final round.
Xavier (E), Wright State (+1), Western Carolina (+2) and Belmont (+2) round out the top-5 in the team standings.
