Four 'Cats Compete at 49er Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four Wildcat men competed at UNC Charlotte's 49er Classic on Friday and Saturday.
Freshman Chris Thompson and junior Nick Masterman took part in the javelin which was held on Friday. Thompson began his collegiate career with a throw of 48.90 meters, good for 15th. Masterman was not far behind with a heave of 48.79 meters to finish 17th.
Jack Stajos earned a top-15 finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.84 meters. He finished 14th.
Davidson's lone entry in track events was Chinedu Okeke who ran a 22.80 in the 200-meter dash.
Up Next
The Wildcats will travel to South Carolina's Weems Baskin Relays next Friday and Saturday.
