Wildcats Add to 2024 Incoming Class; Ink Eight During February Signing Period

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Along with signing 14 during the early December period, Davidson head coach Scott Abell and his staff announced Friday morning the addition of eight more talented and accomplished signees to the 2024 incoming class.
"We are excited to welcome eight more Wildcats to our Davidson football family," Abell said. "I would like to thank our staff for working so hard to bring such quality people, students and athletes to our program. What a great day in Cat Country!"
The Wildcats will kick-off the spring with their first practice Tuesday, March 19. Practices will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for five consecutive weeks before concluding with the Spring Game on Field 76 April 20 at 4:30 p.m.
Davidson, which ended the 2023 season 7-4, finished with the nation's top-rushing attack for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, the 'Cats also led all of FCS in scoring offense (40.0), while ranking among national leaders in total offense (463.2 ypg / 5th), passing efficiency (158.37 / 8th), 3rd down conversion defense (13th), red zone offense (7th) and time of possession (33:25 / 4th).
Since 2018, Davidson is 41-23 overall, 31-14 in PFL play, won a pair of Conference Championships and has advanced to the NCAA FCS Playoffs three of the last four years.
