Three 'Cats Qualify for Finals on Day One of Indoor Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Davidson College men's track and field team wrapped up day one of competition at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships on Friday. Isaac Bynum, Jack Muldoon and Grahm Breiter all advanced to tomorrow's finals.
Bynum, a senior from Frederick, Md., ran the fastest qualifying time in the 60-meter hurdles to cement his spot among the conference's best. The fourth-year man ran a time of 8.05 seconds to pace the field leading into tomorrow's final which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
School-record holder, Jack Muldoon cruised his way into the 1,000-meter final with a time of 2:28.50. His mark was third-fastest in qualifying and the fastest in his heat. Teammate Grahm Breiter also made the cut and will be running on Saturday after he clocked a 2:28.47, the second fastest time in his heat. The 1,000-meter finals are scheduled for approximately 1:10 p.m.
Other Wildcats set to compete in tomorrow's finals will be Kenny Eheman, Daniel Cortese, and John Cooper in the mile as well as Jack Stajos in the shot put.
Muldoon, Ryan Harris, Liam Maurillo, and Henry Griffith will run the 4x800 relay with Bynum, Josh Hardin, Amit Markos, and Owen Sanderson set to compete in the 4x400 relay.
