Sullivan Leads Women to Third-Place Finish at Pirate Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Highlighted by another strong performance from junior Molly Sullivan, the Davidson women's cross country team finished third out 20 teams at the 2024 Pirate Invitational hosted by East Carolina Friday morning.
Coming off a personal-best sixth-place showing, Sullivan completed the 6K course in a personal-best 22:04.3 to pace the Wildcats, finishing 11th out of over 200 competitors.
For Davidson, it's the third Top-3 team finish in as many races this fall.
The Wildcats' Abigail Nasse (22:12.7) also turned in a new personal record to place 16th.
Mary Shoop (22:33.9 / 26th), Anne Berquist (22:37.0 / 30th) and Clara Schad (22:51.6 / 38th) also scored for the 'Cats, who finished just three points behind runner-up and conference foe George Mason (118)
William & Mary placed five runners inside the Top-10 to claim the team title.

Davidson will wrap up its regular season Saturday, October 19 at the Panorama Farms Invitational hosted by Virginia.
