Felt, Thorsen Earn A-10 Weekly Honors

WASHINGTON — Davidson swimmers Dylan Felt and Ginny Thorsen have secured two of the Atlantic 10 Conference's first weekly awards of the season, the league announced Wednesday.
Felt started his junior season off on a high note against Queens and earned A-10 Male Performer of the Week honors, while Thorsen won an event in her college debut and was named A-10 Female Rookie of the Week.
Against Queens, Felt won the 200 free in 1:38.14 and the 500 free in 4:36.06. His 200 time is second-best nationally, while his 500 ranks third.
Thorsen also won the 500 against Queens, doing so with a time of 5:14.48. Additionally, her 100 free (53.38) and 200 free (1:55.75) times are the best among A-10 freshmen and second-best overall.
