Atlantic 10 Unveils Women’s Basketball Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Davidson College women's basketball team is slated to open Atlantic 10 Conference play in Belk Arena Dec. 5, the Wildcats learned Tuesday with the unveiling of the 18-game league schedule.
The Wildcats will start the league schedule by welcoming Dayton to town on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Similar to last season, the Wildcats' schedule will feature two national television appearances on CBSSN, the first against Fordham (Jan. 14) and second versus Duquesne (Jan. 21).
"There will be a lot of great basketball played in Belk Arena with 16 home games on the schedule, including nine against Atlantic 10 foes" said head coach Gayle Fulks. "Get your season tickets now – it's going be a fun and exciting year!"
Following its conference opener, Davidson will have a week off before traveling to La Salle (Jan. 2) and returning to Belk Arena to face VCU (Jan. 6). The Wildcats will return to the road with a pair of contests against George Mason (Jan. 10) and Fordham (Jan. 14). The 'Cats follow the road trip with a three-game home stand versus Richmond (Jan. 17), Duquesne (Jan. 21) and UMass (Jan. 24). Davidson finishes off January on the road at Saint Joseph's (Jan. 27) and St. Bonaventure (Jan. 31).
The back half of the Wildcats' conference slate begins at home against reigning A-10 champion Saint Louis (Feb. 3), followed by a bye week and away game at Loyola Chicago (Feb. 11). The 'Cats then face George Mason in Belk Arena (Feb. 14). Davidson follows with a pair of road games at Rhode Island (Feb. 17) and Dayton (Feb. 21).
The Wildcats' final two weeks of the regular season will feature a pair of home games against Fordham (Feb. 24) and George Washington (Feb. 28) and their final contest on the road at Saint Louis (Mar. 2).
The 2024 A-10 Tournament is set for March 6-10 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va.
The 2022-23 season saw Davidson end the year 14-16 overall and 6-8 in conference competition.
