Schaffer Selected to A-10 Second Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released postseason awards for women's tennis on Tuesday, and senior Josie Schaffer was named Second Team All-Conference.
Schaffer, a senior from Greenwood Village, Colorado, had a 10-5 record in doubles action and a pair of wins in the top singles spot this season. She also picked up a doubles win during the opening round of the A-10 Tournament against Dayton.
Schaffer paired up with freshman Savanna Kollock in doubles for her final season, and the duo finished the year as the team's top pairing. In their last 12 matches, Schaffer and Kollock had a 9-3 record including three conference wins.
The senior earned her second career all-conference nod after being named to the A-10's first team last season. Schaffer ends her career with 29 career wins in singles and 28 doubles victories.
