Drometer and dosReis Named to A-10 Indoor All-Academic Team

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Owen Drometer and Joe dosReis were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team the league announced on Wednesday.
The Academic All-Conference teams include student-athletes who are selected based on their athletic and academic performance. To be nominated, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career and be at least a sophomore.
Owen Drometer earned his way to the All-Academic team for the first time in his career after an impressive showing at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships. The Medfield, Mass. native walked away with two first place finishes after winning the 1,000 meters with a school-record time of 2:26.76 and ran the third leg on Davidson's first-place-finishing 4x800 relay team which also set a new school record.
dosReis landed on the All-Academic team for the second time in his career after one of the most impressive indoor seasons in Davidson history. The Smithfield, R.I. product set school records in the mile and the 800-meters and walked out of the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships with three gold medals. dosReis won the conference title in the mile while also running anchor on the distance medley relay and the 4x800 relay. Both relay teams set new program records for the indoor season.
