'Cats Resume Non-Conference Play vs. High Point

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson women's basketball team will take a six-game undefeated streak into Friday's contest versus High Point in John M. Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. tip.

The Wildcats lead the Panthers 11-5 all-time. Davidson is currently on an eight-game winning streak against High Point with the 'Cats most recently winning 77-64 on the road Nov. 7, 2022.
Suzi-Rose Deegan (16), Chloe Welch (13) and Elle Sutphin (13) led the way for the Wildcats who shot 54.5 percent from the floor.

Davidson completed no small feat as it took down Dayton for the first time in program history via an 81-53 win Tuesday night in Belk Arena.
Suzi-Rose Deegan led the charge with a season-high 22 points and an impressive 10-of-12 shooting performance from the floor. Issy Morgan (15), Millie Prior (12) and Charlise Dunn (12) all joined Deegan in double figures.
DOMINANT DEEGAN...
Deegan has been on a hot streak from the floor as she posted her second 20-points game of the season against High Point with a season-high 22. The win over the Panthers marked the sixth game this season that Deegan has scored in double figures including the fourth contest in a row.
Additionally, Deegan shot am impressive 83.3 (10-of-12) from the floor Tuesday marking the fifth overall game shooting above 50.0 percent and the third contest out of the last four doing such.
PRIOR MAKING PLAYS...
Prior continues to show her dominance on both ends of the court as she currently ranks 18th in all Division I in blocks with 20 after tallying three over Dayton. Prior has not gone a game this season without a block as a starter of all nine contests. Additionally, Prior has had two or more blocks in six of the Wildcats' nine games.
On the offensive end of the floor, Prior has now tallied double-digit points in five consecutive games and six of nine overall. Prior has shot over .500 in the last five match ups including a 56.6 percent performance over that time frame.
WILDCATS AS A WHOLE...
Davidson has another solid showing in their win over the Flyers Tuesday as they tallied the a season-high 46 first half points as well as a season-leading seven blocks. The 'Cats shot an efficient 56.9 percent
