Godoy Tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Isabella Godoy of the Davidson women's indoor track and field team has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office.
Competing in her first collegiate event, Godoy posted a time of 2:16.76 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in the 800 meters.
A freshman from Boerne, Texas, her mark was the second fastest by an A-10 competitor this past weekend and 13th nationally.

Davidson will resume its indoor slate after the New Year when it travels to Columbia, S.C., for the Carolina Challenge Jan. 19-20.
