DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson men's basketball team will conclude its season-long homestand on Thursday evening with a 7 p.m. tip off against USC Upstate in Belk Arena.

The Wildcats' final home game in 2023 will air on ESPN+ and Bally Sports Southeast with Tom Werme and Sam Goldfarb on the call.

WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• After finishing up exams, the 'Cats took on the University of Lynchburg on Saturday, defeating the Hornets 98-63 for their fifth-straight victory and sixth of the season on McKillop Court.
• The Wildcats' meeting with the Spartans will be the first in program history between the two institutions, as Davidson closes out a season-long five-game homestand on Thursday.
• Davidson is shooting 45.6 percent from the floor and averaging 34.5 rebounds per contest, through 11 games this season.
• Redshirt-senior David Skogman has scored in double-figures in four of his last five games, averaging 16.6 points per game through Davidson's five-game win streak.

• Davidson drilled 18 3-pointers and shot 52.3 percent on its way to a 98-63 victory over the University of Lynchburg Saturday afternoon inside Belk Arena.
• Connor Kochera paced 14 different Davidson players in the scoring column with 17 points.
• Bobby Durkin and David Skogman also scored in double figures for the 'Cats with 11 each.
• Senior Grant Huffman was steady as usual with 9 points to go with 8 assists.
• Davidson's 18 threes marked the most in a single game since March 5, 2021, when the 'Cats drained 17 against George Mason.
• The 'Cats also dished 25 assists in the win, marking the most assists in a single game since the 'Cats passed 25 at Fordham in February of 2020.

TRENDY 'CATS
• Davidson is 5-0 this season when four or more 'Cats score in double figures.
• The Wildcats are 5-0 when Connor Kochera reaches double digits in scoring.
• When Reed Bailey leads Davidson in rebounding, the 'Cats are 4-1.
• Grant Huffman has led the Wildcats in assists in every game this season.
• With 58 assists, Huffman ranks third in the Atlantic 10 in total assists and second in assists per game (5.3).

A LOOK AHEAD
• The 'Cats will close out non-conference play with a neutral-site matchup against Ohio University before tipping off Atlantic 10 play at home against Dayton on Jan. 3, 2024.
• Davidson and Ohio will meet in the Legends of Basketball Showcase, an event sponsored by the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), slated for December 30 at ROCKETMortgage Fieldhouse.

BOB MCKILLOP ENSHRINED IN NORTH CAROLINA HOF
• Former Davidson head men's basketball coach Bob McKillop will be inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame this spring, the organization's board of directors announced on December 19.
• The 2024 class, listed alphabetically, includes: Randolph Childress, Sheila Ford Duncan, Caroline Lind, McKillop, Jim Nantz, Pettis Norman, Shea Ralph, Don Skakle, Steve Smith Sr., Marilyn "Que" Tucker and Ron Wellman.
• McKillop led Davidson College to 23 conference championships (15 regular season and 8 tournament titles), 10 NCAA Tournament appearances and 634 wins.
