BACK AT HOME: 'Cats Host Dayton in A-10 Semifinals

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The No. 4 seed Davidson Wildcats will host the No. 6 seed Dayton Flyers in the Atlantic 10 men's soccer semifinals at Alumni Stadium on Wednesday night. The two teams, who have not met this season, will kick off at 7:00 p.m.

The Wildcats (10-4-1, 5-3 A-10) recently knocked off fifth-seeded Duquesne in dramatic fashion this past Friday after Vincent Bennage scored on a header in the 77th minute. Dayton (6-6-6, 3-1-4 A-10) knocked off third-seeded Loyola Chicago on penalty kicks after both teams were tied 2-2 at the end of two overtime periods.

Last Friday marked the first-ever Atlantic 10 postseason victory for the men's soccer program, and now, they will get to host another postseason game. The 'Cats last met the Flyers back on October 20 during the 2021 season with that match ending in a 2-2 draw.
