DAVIDSON, N.C. -- After a Thanksgiving meal in Moraga, Calif., the Davidson men's basketball team will take on St. Mary's College of California on Friday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m.

The game will air on ESPN+ with live radio coverage also available on the Davidson Sports Network with Jarod Latch.

WILDCAT SCRATCHES
• Since Davidson's season-opening win at home, the Wildcats have picked up a pair of wins over Boston University and Maryland and dropped a pair to Clemson and ETSU.
• Most notably, the 'Cats picked up a 64-61 win over Maryland in the opening game of the 2023 Asheville Championship after freshman Bobby Durkin came off the bench to pace Davidson with 16 points, including four triples.
• After upsetting the Terps, the Wildcats dropped back-to-back games by a combined five points, falling to Clemson, 68-65, and ETSU, 70-68.
• On the young season, six 'Cats average at least eight points per game, led by David Skogman's 10.8 points per game efforts.
• Three Wildcats are shooting above 50 percent on the year, led by Connor Kochera's impressive 61.8 percent (21-of-34) shooting from the floor. David Skogman (55.9%) and Reed Bailey (54.5%) also pace the Wildcat's offense above the 50 percent threshold.

LAST TIME OUT
• Connor Kochera scored a game-high 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting to lead Davidson past Boston University, 69-45, on Tuesday night.
• Senior guard Grant Huffman also stuffed the stat sheet for Davidson with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals, while Reed Bailey just missed a double-double with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
• Fellow starters Angelo Brizzi and David Skogman added 9 points each for the Wildcats, who finished with 44 points in the paint.

BEEN A MINUTE
• Davidson and Saint Mary's have met just once before, last squaring off in the second round of the 2009 NIT.
• A pair of future NBA stars went head-to-head in the  match up, as Stephen Curry tallied 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Saint Mary's own Patty Mills led the Gaels with 23 points and 10 assists. 
• The Wildcats' NIT loss to the Gaels was Stephen Curry's last game in a Davidson uniform.

KENPOM TRACKER
• When Davidson topped Maryland in the Asheville Championship, the Terps checked in at No. 29 in the KenPom ratings.
• Currently, the 'Cats hold a 110 rating while the Gaels are 76th.

ALL EYES ON G
• As Davidson's point guard, senior Grant Huffman currently ranks among the top-100 in the nation in assist/turnover ratio (3.00/77th), assists (24/59th) and assists per game (4.8/76th).

A LOOK AHEAD
• After traveling west, the Wildcats will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 29 to take on their regional rival, Charlotte in the annual Battle for the Hornets' Nest.
• With five games on the schedule during the month of December, the 'Cats will kick off the month with a four-game homestand before closing out the year with a neutral site contest against Ohio University.
