Davidson Hosts #18 Dayton

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson volleyball team returns home after a three-game road trip to host No. 18 Dayton on Friday and Saturday inside Belk Arena.
Friday's first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m., while Saturday's match will begin at 2 p.m. and air on ESPN+ with Sam Goldfarb on the call.
LATEST ON THE CATS... The Wildcats are 12-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play as they crossed the halfway mark of the season with two wins at Rhode Island last week. Isabel Decker led the weekend with 4.86 kills per set and a .400 attacking percentage.
Prior to its trip to Rhody, Davidson opened up A-10 play with a two-match sweep over George Washington, before dropping three-straight to Loyola Chicago and VCU.

- Senior libero Bella Brady ranks 15th in the nation in digs per set (5.17) and 33rd in total digs (326).
- Elena Garcia-Guerrios earned Co-Player of the Week honors as a freshman on 9/19, the rookie averages 2.43 kills per set and has started 15 of the Wildcats' 17 matches.
- Freshman Mia Compas has also made a splash, garnering Rookie of the Week recognition in early September. The California native holds a .246 attacking percentage and 18 total blocks.
- Middle blockers Sola Omonije and Kayla Davis are dominant at the net. Davis holds a team-best 51 total blocks, followed by Omonije's 39 stuffs. The two are also Davidson's top-two attackers, with Omonije swinging .383 and Davis at a .370 clip.
- Dayton has won its last 13 matches, winning by a combined score of 39-3. The Flyers have not dropped a set in their last six contests.
- Alayna Yates is a force for the Flyers, swinging .353 at the net with 136 kills and just 40 attack errors.
- Taylor Russell and Lexie Almodovar have recorded 200+ kills apiece this season, while also combining for 58 blocks.
