Berquist Named A-10 Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Anne Berquist of the Davidson women's cross country team has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Performer of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
"Anne has worked extremely hard over the past several months and is seeing the results of those efforts," commented Director of Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Jen Straub. "I'm very excited to watch her progress throughout the year!"
For the second straight outing, Berquist recorded a personal-best time, while finishing 11th among collegiate runners in the 2023 Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University.
After posting an 18:21.8 on Sept. 30 at Louisville's Live in Lou to better her previous best by 15 seconds, Berquist crossed the line in 18:13.19 Friday afternoon.

Davidson will return to action next weekend at the East Carolina Invite in Greenville, N.C.
