'Cats Wrap Up Weekend at USC's Carolina Challenge

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Davidson College women's track and field team ended the weekend at the second day of the Carolina Challenge on Saturday.
Junior Frances Whitworth shattered her personal record in the women's mile after running a 5:08.53, which bested her previous best time by eight seconds.
Senior Breila Fuller finished 11th in the women's 800 meters by crossing the line in 2:13.52. This mark was her best time in the event since last spring at the Aggie Invitational, and it was the best indoor mark of her career.
The women's track team will compete again next weekend at the Bob Pollack Invitational hosted by Clemson and the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
