Slusser Tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Davidson volleyball freshman Emma Slusser has been named the Atlantic 10's Rookie of the Week after helping the Wildcats to a 2-1 weekend, the league office announced Tuesday.
A Minnesota native, Slusser hit .349 during the Wildcat Classic, earning All-Tournament honors with 35 total kills and 8 blocks. The freshman averaged 3.5 kills per set along with 3.9 points per set, setting a new career-high with 17 kills against New Mexico State on Saturday.
