Field Hockey Falls at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. — A one-goal deficit at the half turned into a 4-1 loss to Holy Cross Sunday for the Davidson field hockey team.
The Wildcats (3-6) trailed 2-0 before Charlie Kabelac scored off a penalty corner with 9:19 to play in the second quarter. Her third goal of the year kept the Wildcats within reach, but the Crusaders got two third-quarter goals from Meagan Fourie to take control.
Kabelac, assisted by Anna Sharp on Sunday's goal, is now tied with Sharp and Natalie Naticchia for the team's scoring lead.

The Wildcats return to Atlantic 10 Conference play Friday, Sept. 30 when they host Lock Haven at 7 p.m.
