Field Hockey Drops A-10 Game to Lock Haven

DAVIDSON — Macy Curtis scored her first goal of the season Saturday as the Davidson field hockey team fell 3-1 to Atlantic 10 Conference foe Lock Haven at Belk Turf Field.
Curtis's goal came after a penalty corner in the fourth quarter and on an assist from Charlie Kabelac.
The Wildcats threatened throughout and finished with advantages in shots (12-8), shots-on-goal (7-6) and corners (9-5). Sib Naaktgeboren led the way with three shots and two shots-on-goal.
Martina Spangenberg scored two goals, including one as the third quarter ended, to lead Lock Haven.

The Wildcats will visit Wake Forest for a non-conference game Monday at 7 p.m.
