RADFORD, Va. -- Davidson's Luke Bryant netted a pair of goals as the Wildcats scored early and often in a convincing 5-0 victory at Radford Tuesday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at Cupp Stadium.
Davidson concludes its three-match road swing 1-1-1 while moving to 2-5-1 overall. The loss drops the Highlanders to 1-4-1.
A junior from Clinton, Miss., Bryant scored early in each half, including the eventual game-winner at the 7:42 mark off an assist from Vincent Bennage. His second strike was unassisted in the 59th minute.
Bennage would add a goal of his own, the ninth of his young career, in the closing minutes off a feed from Lyman Ott.
Late in the opening period, freshman Denis Krioutchenkov converted from the penalty spot to put his club up 2-0 at the half.
The Wildcats finished with a commanding 14-4 advantage in shots with half coming on frame.
Making his second straight start in goal for the 'Cats, junior Lou Liedtka recorded a save en route to his first career clean sheet.
Maddux Reece also scored for Davidson late in the second half, when he put away a setup from fellow midfielder Connor Smith.
