Davidson Falls in Three to Wake Forest

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Davidson Wildcats fell in three sets to Wake Forest in their final non-conference match of the season on Friday night.
The Demon Deacons hit .257 on the night, while holding Davidson to a .045 attacking percentage.
Isabel Decker led the offense with eight kills while Anela Davis added four. The senior Davis swung .231 with one solo block and three assists, while freshman Kayla Davis added another three block assists.
Wake Forest's Emmy Ogogor connected on nine of 13 attempts (.615) and Olivia Franke notched eight kills on 11 swings (.636) to lead the Deacs on their three-game sweep.
Overall, the Wildcats ended with 28 kills and four service aces, while Wake Forest registered 42 kills and five aces.

Davidson will return to its home court on Friday, Sept. 23 to open up Atlantic 10 league play against the Duquesne Dukes. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. from inside Belk Arena.
