'Cats Earn ITA Team Recognition, Five Honored as Scholar Athletes

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Davidson men's tennis program was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday, as the team was awarded an All-Academic nod while five Wildcats were individually recognized with Scholar-Athlete honors.
As just one of 163 Division I men's tennis programs recognized, the 'Cats were honored with All-Academic distinction, for the second consecutive year, after earning a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the 2021-22 academic year. Additionally, William Clark, Sam Kavarana, Jerry Wang, Juan Camilo Perez Gongora and Nico Pinzon were all named Scholar-Athletes on behalf of their 3.5 or higher cumulative GPAs.
