Gladstone Named A-10 Player of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson's Mira Gladstone was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Player of the Week, announced by the conference Tuesday. This is the first award of the season for the Wildcats who hold an 11-6 overall record and a 4-1 conference record.
Gladstone went undefeated over the weekend, recording a 4-0 singles record and a 2-0 doubles record. On Saturday, the Port Orange, Fla. native defeated her opponent from George Washington 6-1, 6-1 and won a 6-3 doubles match with her partner, Elizabeth Truluck. Sunday's match against George Mason featured a 6-0, 6-3 singles victory and another 6-3 doubles victory with Truluck.
Gladstone and the 'Cats travel to face Western Carolina Saturday, April 9 before returning home to host Fordham on Senior Day, Sunday, April 10.
