Singh Tabs Second Rookie of the Week Honor

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Davidson freshman Udday Singh captured the Atlantic 10 Conference's final Rookie of the Week honor of the season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Singh, a rookie out of Chandigarh, India, closed out the regular season with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 singles win at No. 2 last Saturday against George Mason. With the win, he closed out the season with an 8-6 overall record and is the lone 'Cat with a winning record in solo play. Singh has also gone 4-5 from court three in his debut season, and an impressive 4-1 at No. 2.
