
Anthony Breaks School Record at JDL February Multi & Track Meet

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Four 'Cats competed at the JDL February Multi and Track Meet over the course of Monday and Tuesday, but their competition was highlighted by Bryce Anthony setting the school record in the Heptathlon.
The previous record was set by none other than Anthony back at the Atlantic 10 Championships in March of 2020. He improved on the 4,817 points to 4,843 points over the weekend. He placed sixth overall in the heptathlon after winning the 60m hurdles race, finishing in fourth in the 60m dash, fifth in the shot put, sixth in the 1000-meter run, and tied for ninth in pole vault.
William Holden Wingate finished the heptathlon in 14th place overall. On the women's side, Riley Dodd finished in seventh overall in the pentathlon.
