Levy, Smith Pace 'Cats at Champion College Team Challenge

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson Track and Field competed at the JDL Fast Track Champion College Team Challenge with Jayden Smith and Beatrice Levy capturing victories for the 'Cats on Thursday evening.
Smith placed first in the men's 60H with a time of 8.09 with teammate Jordan Benson right behind him in second at 8.32. Levy (10:57.72) earned the top spot in the women's 3000m ru, with teammates Lilly Sirover (10:59.97) and Ciara Coger (11:16.56) were on her coattails, placing second and fourth respectively.
On the women's side, Alexandra Cisneros ran the 800m and placed second, stopping the clock at 2:25.76. In the mile, Anne Berquist (5:25.78) and Emily Henkel (5:27.30) ran a tight race, finishing in second and third place. Kate Carnevale ran the 200m dash in 26.19 seconds, earning the second spot. She also placed eighth in the 60m dash, running it in 8.01 seconds.
The men's 4x400 relay team took third overall at the meet in Winston-Salem. In the field events, Dylan Ameres took second place in the men's triple jump with a 13.56 mark and Jordan Benson placed seventh in the men's high jump.
