Wildcats to Celebrate Centennial Anniversary, Seniors on Sunday

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson Wrestling's match against Presbyterian on Sunday will mark the celebration of 100 Years of Davidson Wrestling as well as honoring the program's six seniors.

At an intermission after the 157-pound match, around 60 alumni, spanning from 1966 to as recent as the 2021 graduating class, will be recognized for their contributions to the program.

"100 years of Davidson Wrestling is a testament to everyone that has had a touch on this program," head coach Andy Lausier said. "We are Davidson Wrestling because of our Davidson Wrestling Family. I am so grateful for everyone that carries the Davidson Wrestling torch."

The six seniors - Evan Clark, Erik Eva, Kyle Gorant, Finlay Holston, Mitchell Trigg and Lachlan Rosato, will be recognized before the match.

"These seniors mean the world to me - they are my family," Lausier said. "We've had a wild journey and I can't think of a better way to celebrate their senior day alongside of our Centennial Celebration."

The matchup between the 'Cats and the Blue Hose will begin at 1 pm inside Belk Arena. This is Davidson's final regular season dual before heading to the SoCon Tournament in Boone, N.C. on Saturday, March 5.
