Felt Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Davidson swimmer Dylan Felt is the 2022-23 season's first Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
A freshman from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Felt was a two-event winner in the Wildcats' season-opening meet at Queens last weekend. He won the 500 free in 4:32.18 and the 1,000 free in 9:28.47.
"I'm thrilled that the A-10 has recognized Dylan as the season's first rookie of the week," said Davidson coach John Young. "His debut performances as a Wildcat were impressive, and we should all be eager to watch him explore his considerable potential."
Felt and the Wildcats are next in action Oct. 21-22 at the Richmond Duals.
