Wildcats Host Saint Joseph's Thursday Night

After a lengthy stretch of road games, the Davidson women's soccer team returns home Thursday when it hosts Saint Joseph's at 6 p.m.
The Atlantic 10 matchup is the Wildcats' only home game in a stretch of seven games, and it's the first of five A-10 games to be played at Alumni Stadium this fall.
The Wildcats are 4-4-1 this season, with an 0-1 mark in A-10 play.
"Like all A-10 opponents, it'll be a really tough game, and we're excited to be home after four games on the road," said Davidson coach Adam Denton. "We're looking to bounce back with a positive performance against a tough team. We're excited about the opportunity and the challenges ahead."
Saint Joseph's enters with an 0-7-2 record, including a 2-1 loss in its A-10 opener against George Mason.
LEADERS, ETC
Aleia Gisolfi-McCready, Emma Nguyen and Riley Patton lead the Wildcats with two goals apiece, while Sophia Caruso's two assists pace the team.
Mary Grace Bunch ranks third among the A-10's goalkeepers with a .764 goals against average. She's played 8:24.34 in goal, second-most in the league.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats lost for the first time in more than two weeks, taking a 1-0 defeat at Rhode Island after the Rams scored 1:15 into the match.
UP NEXT
The Wildcats return to the road for an A-10 match at Dayton on Sunday at noon.
