Host 'Cats Set to Open Fall Slate with 2021 River Run Collegiate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Coming off their second Atlantic 10 Championship in three trips, Davidson will serve as host of the River Run Collegiate to open the 2021 men's golf campaign Sept. 20-21 at River Run Country Club.

Led by five-time conference Coach-of-the-Year Tim Straub, Davidson returns four starters from last year's squad that advanced to the second NCAA Regional in school history.
Among those returning, include 2021 all-conference performers Viraj Garewal and Brian Garrett, who finished last season with 72.27 and 72.95 stroke averages, respectively.
Sophomore Alex Heffner (73.42) and seniors Clayton Tribus (75.80) and Dean Naime (78.22) are also back for the 'Cats, who recorded six Top-10 showings last season in seven events.
