
Brady Earns Third Straight A-10 Weekly Honor

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- For the third consecutive time this season, and the fifth of her career, sophomore libero Bella Brady has earned an A-10 weekly honor, as she was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Brady, who was named to the College of Charleston's All-Tournament team, tallied 78 total digs, 5.57 digs per set and 14 assists across a three-match weekend for the Wildcats. The Winter Park, Fla. native also served four aces, while passing a .957 on serve receive all weekend.
Against Idaho State on Saturday, the three-time Defensive Player of the Week set a new career-high in digs, with 36 total pickups.
Brady has set a new career-high in digs twice already this year, as the Wildcats are 4-4 on the young season and will close out non-conference play this weekend at Wake Forest and UNC Chapel Hill.
