Women's Tennis Earns All-Academic Honor, Three 'Cats Named Scholar Athletes

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Davidson College women's tennis team was recognized as one of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's 2021 All-Academic Teams, and saw three Wildcats earn individual Scholar-Athlete honors, the organization announced earlier this month.
The 'Cats, who earned All-Academic distinction for the second year in a row, were one of 210 Division I women's tennis programs to be recognized, as the squad carried a grade point average of 3.2 or above throughout the 2020-21 academic year, in order to qualify.
Davidson also had three individual ITA Scholar-Athletes recognized in Mira Gladstone, Charlotte James and Nicole Krykanov, as the trio of 'Cats boasted a GPA of 3.5 or higher to earn the nod.
