62 Named to the Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – For the second consecutive season, Davidson registered 60-plus Wildcats on the Pioneer Football League Honor Roll, announced by the conference Monday.
The 'Cats earned 62 honorees, up from 60 in 2019, which was the first season the 'Cats eclipsed 60 since 2011. The mark to beat remains 64 which has been reached twice, the last time in 2011.
Davidson's 62 recipients placed them fourth most overall. Dayton earned the top spot for the sixth consecutive season, landing 81 student-athletes, while Drake (78) and Stetson (70) rounded out the top three institutions. The PFL set a record with 634 recognized, just the second time over 600 student-athletes made the grade.
The PFL athletic director and coaches established the honor roll as a way to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the spring semester and posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules.
