Nolde-Lopez Resets the 400m Standard at the Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Davidson junior Bianca Nolde-Lopez broke the program record in the outdoor 400-meter run Friday at the Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
The third-year runner from Colorado came close to resetting the standard in a winning effort at the 49er Classic last Saturday and succeeded in her second attempt of the spring on Friday. Nolde-Lopez stopped the clock at 55.64 seconds, taking second in her section and ninth overall.
She beat out former teammate Tori Long's time of 55.75 seconds set at the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship. Nolde-Lopez and Long hold all 10 of the top 400m performances all-time.
Davidson wraps up the final day of the Raleigh Relays Saturday, Mar. 27.
