PINEHURST, N.C. – Senior Alex Ross carded a 74 Tuesday morning to pace the Davidson golf team on the final day of the 2021 Wake Forest Invitational at historic Pinehurst No. 2.
Pinehurst No. 2, the centerpiece of Pinehurst Resort, has hosted more single golf championships than any golf course in America.
The 12-team field featured five Top-50 programs, including the tournament host Wake Forest, which is currently No. 2 nationally.

In addition to the host Demon Deacons (-6) leading wire-to-wire to take home the team title, Wake's Michael Brennan (-5) led from start to finish and claimed individual medalist.
Next Tournament
Davidson will enjoy a lengthy break before returning to the course March 27-29 at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina.
