Luckhurst Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Fresh off scoring his first collegiate goals, Adam Luckhurst of the Davidson men's soccer team has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
A freshman from Santa Barbara, Calif., Luckhurst helped rally the 'Cats from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 (2OT) draw in their conference opener with George Mason Sunday.
Luckhurst netted his first career strike in the 75th minute and provided the equalizer shortly after.
Through four contests, the first-year forward leads the 'Cats in goals scored, assists and total points.
Davidson returns to the pitch Wednesday evening for a 7 p.m. kick-off against VCU inside Alumni Stadium.
