
Brady Earns A-10 Defensive Player of the Week

The rookie earned her second A-10 Weekly Honor with last weekend's performance.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Davidson freshman Bella Brady is this week's Atlantic 10 Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
It's the second weekly honor this season for the Wildcats and Brady, who was A-10 Rookie of the Week exactly a month ago.
The libero from Winter Park, Fla., recorded a personal-best 30 digs in Saturday's 3-2 win over league power VCU. It was Davidson's first win over the Rams since 1994 and the program's second all-time. It earned the Wildcats a weekend series split.
Brady also contributed two aces and three assists in the 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 19-25, 15-11 victory.
In Friday's 3-1 loss to VCU, Brady had 19 digs, an ace and four assists. Her 5.14 digs per set average is second in the A-10.
Brady and the Wildcats are back in action Friday evening at Dayton.
