Jacobs Garners PFL Co-Defensive Player of the Week Award

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Junior safety Brian Jacobs was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the PFL Sunday, following his pair of fourth-quarter interceptions that helped seal a 42-15 win over St. Thomas.
St. Thomas was driving into Davidson territory and threw a long pass towards the endzone, but Jacobs intercepted the ball on the one-yard line. The Wildcats converted that turnover into a touchdown. His second pick and eight-yard return led to the final Davidson touchdown of the game.
Isaac Haney, a senior safety for San Diego, was the league's other Co-Defensive Player of the Week. He intercepted a pass in the end zone with five seconds remaining to secure San Diego's 10-3 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday.
