CEDARVILLE, OHIO. - The Davidson men's cross country team heads to the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course for the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship hosted by the University of Dayton.

Men's Race: 10 a.m. (8K)
Women's Race: 10:50 a.m. (5K)
SEASON REWIND
The Wildcats have competed in four events over the course of the season, landing at least in the top half of finishing teams at every meet. They finished fourth in the Elon Opener, second in the All-Ohio Open Race, eighth at the Royals Challenge and eleventh at the Princeton Invitational. The freshmen have provided a spark this season including freshman Charlie Siebert, who earned Rookie Performer of the Week after a personal best at the Royals Challenge.
PRESEASON COACHES' POLL
Prior to the start of the 2021 campaign, the Wildcats were selected to finish ninth in the A-10 Men's Cross Country Poll.
2020-21 A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP
Owen Drometer led men's cross country across the line at the Atlantic 10 Championship Friday afternoon at Pole Green Park. Drometer put himself in a good position early, hanging among the top 10 runners of the initial split in the pack. The second-year Davidson runner finished 14th with a time of 24:54.1. A non-scorer at the 2019 champs, Drometer improved 61 spots overall in his second championship run.
The 'Cats placed 9th as a team, recording 248 points. Host Richmond won the title with 44 points, just ahead of pre-race favorite La Salle (53). La Salle's Luke Jaciw-Zurakowsky won the individual crown.
UP NEXT
Davidson will head to Lexington, Ky. for the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet hosted by the University of Kentucky on Nov. 12. at "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
