The latest edition of Catching Up with the 'Cats, presented by Atrium Health, features former men's golf standout Alex Knoll '07, who will be competing in the 2020 PGA Championship Aug. 6-9 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Calif.
A two-time Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for the Wildcats, Knoll qualified for his first major championship based on a Top-20 finish in the 2019 PGA Professional Championship.
The 2020 PGA Professional Championship was originally scheduled for July 19-22, but canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to serving as the head professional at Glen Brook Golf Club in Stroudsburg, Pa., Knoll is a math teacher and golf coach at Palmerton Area High School.
