
Daughters Selected to A-10 Indoor All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson junior Eleni Daughters was named to her second Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, announced by the league Friday.
Daughters wrapped up a strong junior indoor campaign, culminating with her first conference crown. The Pasadena, Calif., native snapped the tape in the 1,000-meter run at Mackal Field House on the campus of the University of Rhode Island with a new school record time of 2:51.03.
In all, Daughters ended the season with three school records, the 1k, the 800-meter (2:08.98) and was a member of the 4x400-meter record-breaking relay (3:18.16).
Daughters joined Caroline Yarbrough '19 on the 2019 Outdoor All-Academic Team as a sophomore. She is currently studying philosophy.
To be eligible for the A-10 All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average greater than 3.0, be in their second year of school, and are significant contributors to their team. The team is voted on by the league's sports information offices.
